I create art out of metal, by hand. I work primarily in sterling silver, with an occasional dash of brass. I am inspired by the worlds of art, design, fashion, architecture, food, and wine. I believe that Art is a human right and that daily exposure is as necessary to happiness and health as a good cup of coffee.
My influences, in no particular order, include: Alexander Calder, Tadao Ando, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Marcel Duchamp, Kim Gordon, Penelope Houston, Patti Smith, Robert Mapplethorpe, Georgia O’Keefe, Jean Arp, Henry Moore, Frank Gehry, Philip Glass, Chuck Close, Miuccia Prada, Diana Vreeland, Christopher Hitchens, Philip Treacy, Isabella Blow, Tom Ford, Zaha Hadid, Rick Owens, Man Ray, Renzo Piano, Tina Chow, Jony Ives, Gustav Klimt, Alexander McQueen, Joe Strummer, Malcolm McLaren, Vivienne Westwood, Josef and Anni Albers, Arthur Nersesian, Lou Reed, Betsy Johnson, Johnny Cash, Nick Knight, Elvis Presley, Charles Rennie MacIntosh, Francoise Hardy, and new stuff I haven’t yet discovered.
