Case Study Tutorial for Undergraduate Students

Developed with an Harvard Business School instructor, this tutorial gives undergraduate students a quick 5-step overview to analyzing a case study.

Testimonial from Das Narayandas, Senior Associate Dean for HBS Publishing—
Tried making a lot of mistakes and input some correct answers. The feedback and tips were very helpful in both answer types.  It is a powerful learning experience that absolutely encourages the learner to dig deeper. Having taught a range of learners from high school kids to CEOs and listened to their feedback about our pedagogy, the uninitiated learners across all levels struggle trying to figure out how to analyze cases. The current notes on this topic are decent but not engaging.  The case companion is rich, relevant and compelling.

Translating xAPI data into meaningful learner insights

In Spring 2020, I participated in a team as part of the xAPI Cohort, sponsored by Torrance Learning, that was testing the ability to send xAPI calls to a learner record store to produce a data dashboard measuring learner performance against competencies. We used SmartBuilder to build the course and embed the xAPI calls, and Learning Locker to ingest the xAPI data for data visualization. The video below is our presentation to the cohort. I am Cara Dune.

Global Data Privacy and Protection at a Glance

This interactive infographic was designed to be a reference for learners as to quickly acquire knowledge about Data Protection frameworks globally.

Depending on their need, learners can access the information for individual regions via a map, or compare aspects of regional frameworks.

Learners can access legal information about a region by selecting the region.
A quick overview dialogue box appears. The learner can see details by selecting “Learn More.”
Details are organized into logical groupings.
Details are easy to read and well organized.
Selecting the Explore button enables the learner to compare individual aspects of data protection across multiple regional frameworks.

Customer Training Videos

At athenhealth, I was embedded with a team of product managers, developers, technical writers, and marketers. My role was to create just-in-time training, as well as helping to refine the UI/UX through QA. Below is an example of a training video created in Camtasia. Please note voice over was placeholder until recordings of human voices were made and synced.
